In these five days in Tanzania, you’ll explore the country’s northern safari park circuit including limitless wildlife drives in Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara National Park and the Great Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1

On arrival in Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by your guide and taken to your hotel. Today you will relax and farmiliarize yourself with the new home,or simply relax by the pool or be taken for city tour.

Day 2

Today is a full day game drive at Arusha National Park.The geography of the national park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mt. Meru (the fifth highest mountain in Africa at 14,990 feet), the Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that blanket its lower slopes. The morning game drive will be along the lower slopes/highland forests where you are likely to see giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue Monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and many other African animals. Leopard populations are present, but occasionally spotted. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route.In the afternoon we will break for lunch around lake Momela and continue with the gamedrive. Later, you will be driven back to your Hotel.

Day 3

What awaits you today, will take your breath away. This morning you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small lake populated with hippos. You return to the lodge in Karatu in the late afternoon

Day 4

Your Next stop on your safari tour is Manyara National Park.The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals; including one of Africa’s densely populated of herd of African elephant, famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, in search of the wildlife and birdlife that Manyara host along with a view of famous hot spring known as “Maji Moto”. Late afternoon you will be transferred to the Campsite for hot shower, dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Your last stop on your safari tour is Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is the sixth largest park in the country and it is famous for its huge herds of elephant and majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River has water all year round and during the dry season, between July and October, many animals from the surrounding areas come to the river for drinking. If you visit the park during this season, you will witness one of unforgettable natural wonders in Tanzania. During this safari, keep your eyes open for zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and more on your afternoon game drive before driving back to Arusha where we will part way for now.
